TWD jumped the shark in season 5 when the two zombies were on the korean dude and then it cut to another scene only to cut back with him waking arouns totally fine. In the dying days of the Roman Empire the local Romans killed tens of thousands of Germanic families living in their cities, they also turned on people that were pagan and people that followed Christian heresies.


When things go bad people tend to blame foreigners, even ones that have long roots in a community going back generations. When the plague struck Europe, Jews were targeted and blamed. When economic hardship hit Germany after WW1 the Jews were blamed again, it doesn't even take society ending events like a zombie outbreak to have humans turn on the humans that are different.


Humans also tend to stick to smaller communities in hard times, they are more willing to protect people they find are like themselves culturally, religiously and racially. If the USA ever did break down you would see societies develop on religious and racial lines. I know Americans like to masturbate to things like the Constitution and its rules but in a complete breakdown of society it would be the first thing to go.

All of the characters are acting like retards. There are no likeable characters anymore.

My only gripe with the saviors so far is that they're not shown doing stuff that's beneficial. It would make sense to have your doctor train new doctors for example - a) in case one of them stumbles into an oven and b) because doctors will ALWAYS be needed especially with zombies around.

So far none of them have starved and he's not taking as much from cooperative groups like the Kingdom. If Rick wouldn't have chimped out everyone would've been better off.

The way I see it he's just forcing people to be more productive that way. There's practically unlimited space right now for farming, all they have to do is put in the effort. And if that's not enough then maybe they should reconsider keeping deadweight like Tara or Rosita.

At this point the Saviors are BY MILES the more interesting group, not to mention, though harsh and draconian; Negan does right by his people. Though bashing two of Rick's guys brains out sounds incredibly harsh, it's in response to killing dozens of his guys when Negan's crew had never even fucked with Rick's.

If things hadn't started out on such a bad note, they'd probably have an arrangement like The Kingdom where they just give a bit of food regularly and aren't fucked with at all (unless if deliveries aren't met).

I'd say there needs to be a mass purge of the excess characters on Rick's side (which I bet is coming). I would like to see even rick go. It would be much better as the Negan show, but it's never gonna be that.... also they need to purge some "safe" characters too. Darryl, Rick, Carol, Carl. To let you know that this show still has some realism to it.
