"You're not your upbringing, and you're more than the sum of your parts." Works for everyone in it.

Money can't buy your parents back to life and cure the PTSD from seeing them killed by the equivalent your uncle
>>
Family dynamics and that Ward is best boy
>>
Iron Fist was about the power of autism
>>
>>80776372
Luke Cage didnt have much to do with race it felt like a blacksploitation film. It got all meteorman towards the end

'We can put literally 0 effort into one of these shows and morons will still watch it.'

This

I don't remember Luke Cage having anything to do with racism.

Are these shows all as shitty as that image makes them seem?
>>
Corrupt corporations obviously. Did you watch it?
>>
>>80777389
yes, but vincent d'onofrio is awesome in daredevil (doesnt make it worth watching)
>>
>viewing the world through these eyes.

What has the liberal education system done to people?
>>
>>80777389
Not really. There's fractions of truth to those aside from the Luke Cage one, since that show was kind of all over the place, but at it's best basically Shaft
And Iron Fist is also kind of all over the place. If there was a theme it would probably be that "birthrights" ruins shit for everyone, as that was at the center of every character's conflict that wasn't a nameless ninja

To me this entire show harkens back to that proverb about the invoking the wrath of a gentle man.

Danny almost always tries to resolve things with words at the beginning of the show, but he gets antagonized into violent confrontations every time. As the show goes on, Danny becomes more prone to using violence as a first option.

The show is even set up like this in terms of pacing, it starts out slow, there's not much violence, but as the show goes on the pace suddenly explodes once every solving things peacefully becomes impossible.

Even the way fights are filmed, at the beginning, slow, judo like, Danny goes in depth to talk about inward strength while fighting, by the end of the show he's relentlessly beating the shit out of people until they're almost dead, his fighting becomes faster, more aggressive, more forceful.

Even his power reflects it, "beat the shit out of me until I go full rage mode"

Honestly it was all really apparent to me as soon as I started watching.

>needing comic book superheros to explore aspects of society

Alan Moore was a mistake.

but DD cant see
>>

Luke Cage was about core black values. Nothing to do with racism.
>>
>>80779053
BLM namedrop and the whole concept of people walking around in bullet riddled hoodies after the Trayvon Martin ordeal
>>
>>80779053
This desu.

Luke Cage was about the current state of blackness in America. Confronting racism is a part of that but it wasn't the point at all.
>>
>>80776372
Did Danny ever got to where both his arms glows with the power of the Iron fist in the show or is that false advertisement?
>>
>>80779528
He does 3 different things with it, but the vast majority is just him punching things with one arm. He barely knows how to use it
>>
Daredevil was about the legal system failing those who need it most?

Then what was that entire ninja subplot?
>>
>>80780761
For argument's sake that's more the difference between season 1 and 2
>>
>>80776372
That if you are a rich white man, you need to be prepared for ridiculous slander from POC (Gao) or "holier-than-thou" socialist manlet (Bakuto) that likes to stalk people.
>>
>>80776456
So basically Batman.

Nice try at defending a rushed Scott Buck abortion
