Let's talk about Bronson.
Why doesn't he wear the wig?
>>80740552
This is the only Refn movie I will probably ever see.
Whenever you're ready to begin OP

>>80740552
i wrote an essay on the fragile masculinity/homosexual undertones of it
>>80740552
Fuck off you fuckin cunt.
>>80740552
I understand why Tommy didn't become a pornstar.
>>80740616
>NOT IN MY ARSE, YOU HOMO!
Hm yes, very subtle undertones.
>>80740620
Not a big guy
>>80740756
never said they were subtle, but it's interesting to look at. the sexual innuendo alone in the film is bonkers
>>80740848
Yeah, it's certainly there. I just thought "undertones" was a funny choice of word because that implies subtlety.
>>80740888
yeah i guess not the best choice of words, but most people i'd say wouldn't pick up on it or don't want to accept it. they see a crazy guy who just wants to fight all the time and loves being in prison.
QUICKER
QUICKER
>>80741220
>>80741268
Too quick.
>>80740552
pic related is superior.
>>80742344
CUNT
>>80742498
Does it have a lot of narration? That's what made Bronson so good.
>>80740599
why?
Prison kino thread?
>>80740599
>>80744172
Better question, what made you watch this one if you refuse to see the others?
>>80744282
the Mountjoy doco-series
>>80744288
>Better question, what made you watch this one if you refuse to see the others?
I watched Bronson for its own merits. Tom Hardy as Bronson looked fascinating. Only reason I would watch Only God Forgives or Drive or whatever else is because /tv/ told me too. Those other movies look really gay and boring.
>>80744428
Most of them are, but Drive is a lot of fun. I recommend it.
>>80740776
For you
https://youtu.be/jm13g9ssWjA
>>80744428
watch them you fuckin homophobe
I want Tom Hardy to fuck me into oblivion.
>>80740552
go ahead
good movie.
Any more movies like Bronson? Having seen a few other Refn films it seems that he's never really done anything like it.
>>80742563
>Does it spoonfeed me the characters thoughts?
>>80747340
Yes, I want to be spoonfed the character's thoughts.
>>80740616
>>80740848
>>80741006
>fragile masculinity
Consider suicide, faggot lmao.
>>80747408
He's right though. I bet you haven't written an essay in your life.
How was Bronson so good compared to the rest of Refn's work? /tv/ even baited me into watching Valhalla
>>80748751
Probably because it's a biopic so he was forced to have the characters talk instead of that weird awkward silence.
>>80748751
Bronson is good. Arguably one of his bests, but also One of the more conventional.
Valhalla Rising on the other end has to be one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. Outside of some nice shots there's literally nothing to it.
>>80749198
>Arguably one of his bests, but also One of the more conventional.
Refn's at his best when he's conventional. Really makes you think.
>>80744282
yes please
>>80749657
I haven't seen the Pusher ones yet, but I liked both Drive and Neon Demon, so I have no problem with him being weird. But I think Bronson is the right compromise. But who knows, maybe it's Hardy who sells the movie for me.
My friend works at a big prison and met Bronson he fights pakis now
>>80751142
Does his voice sound anything like the one Tom Hardy does in the film?
That scene in psychiatric ward with pet shop boys playing was amazing. Bravo Refn.
>>80744282
This movie's damn hard
>>80745482
Always cracks me up.
>he hasn't yet realized that Fear x is the superior refn kino
>>80751871
I haven't heard of this. Is it better or worse than Fear and Desire?
>>80740552
Great movie. Only noteworthy Hardy performance I've seen.
>>80753046
I seem to remember him doing a pretty good job in one of the Batman movies.
>tfw your dikk is bigger than tom's
hmmm
>>80751597
The movie as a whole is very dark but the rape scene is unintentionally hilarious.
how can I get a bf like Bronson
>>80753180
tfw my dick is 8 inches long and id rather be a handsome moviestar than a fat fuck with a big cock
>britains most violent criminal
>never killed anyone
Holy shit you guys are bad at crime
>>80753180
>tfw you are taller than 'manly' tom
>>80740552
was that his actual cock because im bigger than him lmao
>that scene when tom yells to the guard he's holding hostage to rub his armor(grease) on his naked body whilst calling him a cunt and a fag. Just the irony alone lol
>>80753685
>fat and hung
Rare! How fat are you?
>>80753826
who are you quoting?
>>80753130
Didn't enjoy the Nolan films. Didn't think Bane was all too compelling.
>>80753046
C O N C E R E T E
>>80740552
refn's best, hands down
>>80740599
This post may have written by my father, who called Bronson the worst movie he's ever seen.
>>80747371
You'll like Chopper then. Although good luck trying to make sense of the shit he did (or didn't do, whether you believe him).
>>80740552
It's neither good or accurate
I liked the movie, but only because of the music and Tom Hardy's acting. No homo.
>>80745482
FOR YOU
>>80755010
SHUT YOR FUCKIN MOUF
>>80747408
>>80753130
Doesn't realize the only reason why Baneposting is a thing is how shitty the dialogue and performances were for not being a tiny budget b movie.
>>80740599
You need to see Pusher then.
>>80750971
Watch the Pusher movies! The third is a little less good than the first two but all are solid kino especially the 2nd one.
>lets post prison movies!
>nobody mentions best prison movie ever
>>80750293
this and Le Trou and Blood In, Blood Out for prisonkino
>>80740552
It's not a good movie.
>>80753747
>Violence is interchangeable with murder
>Trying to be proud of having worse criminals
>>80753765
How do you know you are bigger than Tom? All we saw was him flaccid.
Are you an insecure 12 year old? Hmmmm Nootka.
>>80740552
great movie
Probably Refn's cheesiest movie.
