Have a short film to edit. It's an existential short about god and violence. The goal is to make sure it doesn't come across as pretentious
Just put out a fashion-art short that's being well received. But vimeo's stats are beyond broken shit so that's like a thing...

Because there's already too much being made nowadays. Too many books, too many movies, too much TV. Too many content creators and media companies making mediocre pulp consumed by a bovine global audience.

Our civilisation is drowning in this tide of unoriginal basic shit rehashed again and again. All with the same tiny range of acceptable moral standards and values shoved down our throats in slightly different forms.

If you think you can make the next Iliad, Beowulf or Paradise Lost then ok, write away.

Otherwise, don't bother. Throw your macbook in the trash and do something meaningful with your life like unblocking toilets.
