Why did Tommy felt the need to include so many sex scenes in The Room?
because it is a money laundering scheme

I've heard this before about this movie. Is it true?
Because he is a pervert. Fun fact, one of the first things they shot was a sex scene.

No. There was an entire book written on it's production by the guy who played Mark.
"Lisa" got pregnant multiple times from the unsimulated sex without any sort of protection. Each time Tommy took her to get an abortion. Everyone on the cast knew but Tommy and Lisa thought nobody else did. Apparently it was extremely awkward.
because Denny wanted to watch

The Room is the most important piece of post-modern art since Duchamp's Fountain.
Because he thought the public would want to see his naked ass

It's often stated in the book that a big part of The Room is just wish fulfilment for Tommy. You see, we are talking about an eastern european immigrant who made it big because of unknown causes, but now he's finally in the position to recreate this fictitious world in which HE is the man he always wished he was.

There's one sex scene which is repeated.

if you were the director you would want to have sex scenes involving you too

>James Franco's long-awaited biopic on the behind-the-scenes story of the "world's worst film" finally debuted at SXSW Festival earlier this week and the reviews have begun to trickle out online. So far, The Disaster Artist currently has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, whilst Metacritic has combined score of 82% so far.
>Digging down into the reviews for The Disaster Artist, HeyUGuys called Franco's performance a "career-best", saying that "nothing this good has ever come from something so bad." Variety's Peter Debruge, meanwhile, said that the film has "a genuine capacity to delight, whether or not the audiences in question have seen The Room."
>The Playlist called Franco as Wiseau "his best performance since his Oscar-nominated turn in 127 Hours and as a director it is nice to finally seem him embrace the comfort zone of comedy with enough cameos to rival Robert Altman's The Player," rating the film with a B+ score. It's actually happening

He also says in the book that Tommy apparently has a "bottomless pit" of money stored in a bank which made Greg second guess Tommy for a bit but ultimately forgot about it.
Because he wanted it to be kino.
