Fucking sad. I am technically overweight for my heiight, but it doesn't effect my day to day activity. I am healthy otherwise, I just have a belly. You're right. It doesn't create a problem that doesn't already exist. It doesn't however, really fix the problem, either.

The problem is the uneven quality of public schools to begin with. In my opinion, a voucher program will just move that unevenness into a whole new environment, one with even less oversight and accountability. People will start "voting" for schools with their wallets, which sounds sort of good in a way, until you stop to consider that it will once again start leaving behind the very people it's purported to help.

Are you against letting people choose their own job because they can't travel to some jobs they want?
