I never seen this movie noticed it's long. Is it good?

The Diaz/DiCaprio stuff is pretty bad but Daniel Day Lewis is amazing. Plus a really cool opening scene with Liam Neeson and 30 Irish versus Day Lewis and like 50 New Yorkers in a knife fight.

The entire film is like eating cardboard. It's a step up from Tarantino's recent work but not by much.

As other anon's mentioned, it's worth watching for day lewis's performance if you like him. Unfortunately it's also retarded long and the scenes without him are god awful. Overall it's a bad movie.

It's a mixed bag.

Some great stuff, some awful stuff.

That's reflected in the casting - Daniel Day Lewis is amazing and perfectly cast. DiCaprio is awful and terribly cast.

There's a good movie in there centered on Daniel Day Lewis. Unfortunately there is a terrible movie in there trying to salvage a huge budget by appealing to the Titanic audience.

Imagine if the movie had been about Daniel Day Lewis and Liam Neeson's characters.

Fugging Titanic shit ruined the film.
