First is a classic then goes downhill to shit with Stranger Tides, however after seeing a few of the trailers I'm actually semi hyped for this one.

Got completely bored with #2 in the theater, I remember a lot of spinning objects and yelling. I watched #3 and can remember nothing about it. These movies are like Transformers for me, they all blend.

Is this accurate?

The original three are great. On Stranger Tides sucked as a PotC film but was a mediocre adventure flick overall. Even if the new one gets bad reviews I'll still see it since critics disliked 2 and 3, despite them being good in my mind.
