I always get confused with the info of giant monsters in movies. For example the new Godzilla is said to weight about 100 000 tons. But on the other hand, the Pacific Rim kaiju were about 7000 (!) tons. How the hell they were so light? Am I missing something?
Why the fuck do you care about giant monsters' weight?I guess you're missing the part you're retarded.

Maybe they're like birds

Who cares nigga, it's unrealistic anyway. Square cube law.

You're arguing about the weight of fictional constructs/organisms but to appease you, remember that the Jaeger's re still somewhat hollow and perhaps have more spaces in them than a solid creature made up of flesh and bone, especially hardened muscle, and again the Jaegers could be constructed of alloys that are incredibly tough but light.

Well they do fly.

I don't understand why they decided to dub the japanese in theaters. The russian and chinese lines aren't dubbed, it's so weird.

>How the hell they were so light?
Air pockets to minimize cost. They WERE produced by interdimensional jews after all

I ve read one explanation that fits some gaps in this question - the Pacific Rim kaiju/jaegers weight were given in water displacement (like ships) and godzilla in land weight. The water displacement of Godzilla is about 7000 tons I think.
Godzilla eats radioactive waste, right?
That stuff is really heavy.
100 kilos
