Is this the most patrician film of all time?
Yes.
Not sure
I don't know

utter shit
I never realized how much they look alike
Just well-produced garbage. Plot makes no sense
>Let's time travel bodies but make sure they arrive at the exact point in space where the earth is in its rotation around the sun at at the time they arrive
>Let's also have the assassins kill themselves instead of having someone else kill them even though that will obviously be highly problematic
Also the two leads look nothing alike and the prosthetics just made Gordon-Levitt look weird
It was classic.
Can you repeat the question?

Utter garbage time travel mechanics.

One's old and bald, the other is young with hair.
I can see why it troubled you.

lemme guess, Primer is your idea of good sci fi
>>80551790
>not being autistic
its 2017

How is it autistic to expect a movie to make sense
Give me one good reason you would have the assassins kill themselves instead of having a different assassin do it.

I lost interest when the whole Bruce Willis subplot kicked in. Shoehorned romance story for the Chinese lacked artistic integrity
>>80551857
I always make sure my dreams make sense, or I threaten to send them back to the dream factory
fuck no it's forgettable as fuck
>>80551857
so you get the big payday, not somebody else. i know that's kinda bs, but hey.
if autistic enough to invalide an entire movie (a time travel movie at that) over one minute plot detail, then you shouldn't be allowed to critique it.
The stupidest fucking time-travel mechanics ever. Somehow lopping pieces off someone's younger version makes the older version lose those parts, but the effects are magically appearing at that specific moment, so the injuries are healed, and somehow they don't remember having parts chopped off in their youth, and could climb fences and shit without legs.

JGL was actually wearing make-up and prosthetics in this movie to look more like Bruce Willis.
>>80551732
There's literally a scene in the movie where Bruce Willis' character says something along the lines of "we could sit here for hours and talk about time travel making no sense but i ain't got time for this now" as a direction to the viewer not to overthink it as time travel stories never make complete sense but i guess it went over your head completely.

The gold they send back to the past makes them... Economic something something.
first half is excellent then the plot really drags once they hit the farm, then the last fifteen minutes goes full retard
>>80552295
It's not minor it's literally the central plot point of the whole film
>>80552295
>minute plot detail
The entire movie literally rides on this guy trying to kill the kid because it will make him money.
>>80551857
>make sense
Theyve been senselessly murdering other people for money for decades, would they really have qualms with killing a seperate version of themselves for a huge payoff?
Its not that farfetched.
Theyre selfish, as far as theyre concerned its not actually them taking the bullet....yet.

I never got why they have to kill the assassins after a few years. Surely just having a few loyal ones at a time that are secure in their job for life is better than constantly having to hire new ones and trusting they will obey the rules when it's their turn to die.
