Actually no as John Wick was a 'movie' genetically engineered to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophistication who laud stale meme dialogue, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme acting with a good movie pandering reddit tier proto capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme tv movie videogame aesthetic. This is a flick at best and people who praise it are likely no older then 18.

Heat is really overrated on /tv/. I've seen a few anons who agree with me, it's not a bad film but it's really not all that good. It's brought down by almost an hour of shitty subplots instead of it being a bit more tight and focused.

Collateral which is obviously very comparable to this film is imo a better made film. Also most of /tv/ seem to like that one as well. Personally it didn't leave me satisfied because of the ending. Otherwise a pretty solid and accurate list.
