I heard there was plans for this Röde Orm to be filmatized but i doubt thats going to happen now. Its about a viking who gets captured along with his mates and forced to row as a galley slave to muslim spain, converts to islam and becomes the bodyguard of the kalif and kills christians and desecrate their holy bells. Then kills a bunch of muslims who killed his former captain, steals a ship and sail back home, where he soon converts to christianity just to be able to marry a princess. He commits such heresies throughout the story that the director would probably be killed by some jihadi at the premiere
