My old man fucking loves those two. Poseidon Adventure was the first one I watched too and it was with my dad. Helfighters is one of his favorite movies and his favorite Wayne movie by far. One day I was flipping through channels and he recognized it from a few seconds of audio from the other room and dropped whatever he was doing and came rushing in. It was definitely heavy on the disaster though
