MMPR is the big season for everyone because it was the first and it went for 3 season instead of 1, it's the big pop culture hit.

As far as I know Zyuranger which it was taken from is a totally middle of the road Sentai that wasn't particularly memorable. But outside of Japan that's all anyone knows.

I have no idea how many sentai series aired before Zyuranger. If the red ranger team up episode is taken from Japanese footage, then logically there would be Red rangers there from series that were never implemented into the power ranger franchise.

I'm curious as to how they explained that away within the american show, and which red rangers were from previous sentai series such as the original 1970's one.
