Was it really that bad?
Everyone said TF4 was the same trash as the first 3, but to me it seemed to be the only one that did anything different. It also had something everyone asked for since the beginning: more interaction between the autobots. And i'd say it excelled in that area because every autobot shared the same amount of screentime and dialogue, unlike in the first 3 where everyone besides Optimus was just a disposable action scene.

Yes, it was really that bad. It was much worse than even 3. It had no likeable characters and no coherent structure. It was just a bunch of shit thrown at a wall. And for all of Shia's character's flaws, at least it was a character. You think anyone gives a fuck about Marky Mark playing generic action protagonist #437, Michael? No.

Almost every Transformers related thing was cool in the movie. Human stuff again was dumb, but Stanley Tucci was fun.
