Has anybody landed a reliable jobs in the film industry? what

My uncle and I used to sell cocaine in the Hollywood area and served up several famous people on a regular basis. It was very reliable.

There is no "reliable" job in the film industry, if you aren't atleast consistent with your work you are out, same with any other artform really.
Even if you just want to work in the crew as an production assistant it's the same, one or two major fuck ups and you're out.

Basically you have to have an irrational amount of love for filmmaking to "succeed" in it.
