However people may feel about that show, that was an achievement in film. The way that was shot was just incredible.
I hope Miguel Sapochnik moves onto bigger and better things than Game of Thrones. The guy is fucking SUPER talented. Hardhome and Battle of the Bastards was as good as that show has ever been as far as directing. He directed both of those.

Samefagging but I see he's doing that Marvel show Iron Fist now. The showrunner is actually the guy who wrote one of my favorite episodes of Rome (These Being the Words of Marcus Tullius Cicero) and Sapochnik directs it.

It should've shown some Gondor soldiers witnessing the charge. Gondor did fuck all. And the Ghosts steamrolling everything lessen the whole event. Though I think in the books they are just a distraction
I like long cuts and wide shots but that shit is too hard to film, thin red line is the only thing that comes to mind
