There are several porn cinemas and peep shows in my neighborhood, I'm considering trying to get a job there. I'd rather work at night and I doubt they get many applications

I did back in high school. It's pretty cool, provided you work at night. Less little kids and old people making messes and being shitty.

Old people in particular are the worst.

My experience was bad. You basically clean up popcorn which is all over the fucking floor, and then maintain a schedule where you go into the theaters and clean them after movies let out. People are disgusting and leave shit all over the place and it's horrible. You have to go into the theaters and check every now and again to see if people are filming or if people are dead or talking or whatever, so you get pretty much every movie out at the time spoiled for you by watching these little 5 minute clips of it throughout the day. The managers are usually retarded and don't know who you are or give a shit about you so one day I was told to make nacho platters all day and ended up doing it for 8 hours straight. I made so many fucking nacho platters it was ridiculous.

Mostly the old people who refuse to use the Internet and have to call us to get their show times. I once had a lady ask me (over the phone) the critical reception of every movie we were playing.

Old people are just shit in public. When a little kid throws fits and makes messes, they generally don't know any better. Old people talk during the movies, complain non-stop and seemingly go out of their way to make everyone as miserable as they are.

Working the box office was the best, cleaning theaters was ok, working concession stand was torture
