So is House of Cards any good?
first and second season are good, then it all goes to shit.
saw it recently, it's cozy

It's certainly "well made," but it just feels like an overly designed amalgam of tropes from other critically acclaimed tv shows. I guess it worked because everyone loves the shit out of this, but to me it just feels empty and lacking creativity. Kevin Spacey's character brings nothing new to the "sociopathic antihero" character we've seen plenty of times in recent tv history and his scheming gets old after a while. People shit of Breaking Bad for being shallow, but I'd take Walter White over this dude any day of the week.
>I am the Senate.
Really jumped the shark there.
I loved the first two seasons. Began agenda pushing in the 3rd season I think. Russia killing all they gays etc.

the putin stand in is a really good actor
can't wait for their not-trump
like other anons said, the first two seasons are great. season 3 is a decline for sure, hopefully season 4 is better but I'm not going to hold my breath. his rise to power was just a lot more interesting than his time in the oval.
Real comfy, quite possibly the best show to watch on a rainy day
It's like The Young Pope for politics

S1>S2partA>>S3>>S2partB>>>>S4
gets slowly worse OP
First season is kino. Second is also pretty good. It's all downhill after that though. This show is really at its best when Frank is the whip.
Who cares, real life is better than that show at this point

This.
Season 1 and 2 are strong, season 3 was a slog to get through, season 4 was strong for 60% got a little slow then brought it back in the last episode.
Still excited for Season 5.
