The whole third act of Moonlight was fantastic. No clue why people are saying that is the weakest part of the film.
Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare

It was the best part of the entire movie for me. Whats the argument for the the third act being the worst?

i just watched last night and my favorite act was first, probably because i related to Juan the most. 3 was the slowest by far. 2 was probably my second favorite.

3 was the best and the only one that wasnt ruined by terrible acting by the children and teenagers.

I don't know but, in most discussions about Moonlight on this board people say the first 2 acts were great and the third dragged.

Most highly rated movies do just that. Schindler's list for instance was decent but its the ending that increases the emotional value of the entire movie. If it just ended with Schindler driving off it would probably be around 8 instead of 8.9 on IMDB.
Its probably a lot harder to name great movies that didnt improve in the last minutes.
