Want to start watching a new cop show, is Bosch any good?

It's real fun to watch. Nothing groundbreaking but season one at least has a great satisfying arc

Season 1 is good, very bingeable. Season 2 is meh but still better than most cop shows.
The books the show is based on are very hit or miss and basically detective schlock, so the show is better than it should be.

It's one of those shows that the setting and characters make the show - it's like The Killing in that respect. I thought that it made Los Angeles look like a place you haven't seen a thousand times before.

Are there any other good Amazon Originals? Nothing ever seems to appeal to me so the only show I picked up was Bosch. I guess I'm just worried that I'll waste a couple hours trying to find something decent.

Looking forward to the Tick, Van Damme, and the upcoming Jack Ryan show.
