God I miss G4

I know this is more /v/ territory but what was it about G4 that was like having a fever dream?

I think it was my first exposure to video game "journalism" and it was just a bunch of idiots who weren't actually good at games talking about games. It felt weird. It was like some kind of serious culture that was actually a parody of itself.
