I never saw the TinTin film. I used to listen to the radio plays as a child though.

Tintin is much more universal. You can't get all the jokes in Asterix if you aren't french and aren't born before the 90's.

Tintin for me. The cartoon was great and the comics are a classic for a reason. They have worldwide appeal(if you are white lol) and speak to wanderlust most people have.
