IE has some good stuff but it's waaaaaaay too long. If Lynch had taken it down to two hours of less it would have been better instead of an endurance test.
I get the feeling Twin Peaks 3 will be Lynch's last project.

Brrrrutal fucking murder.

Inland Empire is probably the best representation of what Lynch has tried to do in film over the years, but I find that Eraserhead is more enjoyable.
I also really enjoy Lynch's more grounded work like The Elephant Man, Twin Peaks, and The Straight Story.
It's his second best behind Eraserhead. Maybe tied with Mulholland Drive.

Doesnt help that its filmed on shit-tier digital
Its like trying to watch blu ray transfers of 28 days later

yeah i liked this part. loved terry crews facial expression as laura dern is bleeding out
i didnt really like the movie overall though. Too formless and indulgent imho
Friendly reminder the film is ultimately about suicide and depression. And examines the very essence of its implications through a nightmarish surrealist digital lense.

Nah brah
Its actually pleb to be contrarian about being a pleb who likes low end 2005 digital cameras which were kino but are now pleb because digital is kino but film is kinoer
