Currently watching Legion. It is not like any other capeshit. Actually it is more mindfuck psychological horror thriller than capeshit. Stunning visuals and soundtrack. TV should talk more about it. Really worth watching for anybody who hates capeshit tv shows. This one is not like the others. A true gem.

It's not ironic, it's actually quite sincere, with tongue-in-cheek peppered throughout. Self-awareness isn't the same as irony.
There's so much more to it than a soap opera, though. It's rightly considered to be the pioneer of modern television, perhaps not by the younger tv audience, but by industry professionals and showrunners themselves.
