If Mac and Dee weren't part of the cast anymore, this show would still be decently funny. They're easily the weakest link of the show when they don't have good writers. Frank, Charlie and Dennis can at least act somewhat well in their characters even if the scripts are nothing more than fan fics now.

I wanted it to be, it had the framework to be great, but the script wasnt there. Black Dee was a funny gag and could have been milked more. Otherwise it was a lot of needlessly shrill, manufactured drama. I don't think the actors, as good as they are, sold the script. Dennis and Mac stuff was odd, rocket launcher gag was deflating and meaningless. Charlie was out of character.

The main issue with the show is that none of the main cast members are diverse.

Why not throw in a black guy? He can bring something to the show. Black men have a natural rhythm/humor and it would be good to see him get with that blond girl.
