Is it good? Why should I watch it?
Any good? Watching Borgia and Viking atm, but just about to finish Borgia so I need something new
>>80270914
because it's quite easily one of the best tv shows of the 21st century, perhaps of all time.

No, it's pretty boring. If you thought Mad Men was literally Nothing Happens: The Show, you're in for a surprise.

Way to blow your cover
do you still like the show?

The young pope is garbage for teenagers who want to feel smart.
I actually agree with this although you could probebly switch TD and TYP and I'd still be good.
At the very least a very good looking show and very comfy.
I think the ideal audience is lapsed Catholic or at the very least more secular Catholics.
It often looks at a lot of the hypocrisies of organized religion but at the same time there are moments about faith and religion that are deeply beautiful. It's not just an /r/atheism circlejerk and it made me think about my own faith quite a bit.
It also has many deeply catholic themes that might not resonate as well with others.
There are a lot of things i don't like about it (there is a sex scene that is really over the top and his search for his parents get really tiresome) but overall it's a really good show and just what i needed.
