Eh, the problem is they aren't done designing the monsters for the next film. Cave drawings make it easy to have just the silhouettes and not the final designs.

Fun part is the Godzilla director directed Rogue One and that shit was mostly great. No idea who's doing Kong vs Zilla, and I don't know if they're even going to do a Godzilla 2. At that point, being Hollywood, they'll just reboot it....

When my dad and I were watching the credits, I noted "Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah are properties of Toho etc... Where did they appear in the film? I don't recall seeing them at all."

We figured they must appear in some cut scene to be restored on the DVD or whatever. And then the after credits rolled...
