> Scar looks alot like the major & is a notably better actress then their 1st choice Margot Robbie.
> They found a great middle ground between the basically naked hose she wore in the 95 film & not using a cloak skin at all. So fucking elated they kept the cloak skin in. A giant win against the prude man haters demonizing sex appeal in popular movies.

> Heavy use of props, animatronics, puppets & practical effects.

> Will reuse the 95 films iconic score in the film.

> At a few points the CGI looks poor.
> IF her name is in fact Mera & that is not a misdirect by the Hanka corporation as the Motoko Kusanagi gravestone suggest, then that is a lame course of action.
> Focusing on her origin is kinda generic & so does making the corporation who created her be shady, but that doesn't equal bad tho.
> The Aoki remix of the 95 theme is terrible but will most likely not be in the final film.

Motoko is a military level cyborg super soldier and scarjo is a tiny womanlet. She looks nothing like the Major.

There is no middle ground. It's defeating the whole premise of the naked body shit. Her shell. The themes of the fucking movie was where do humans end and the robot begin? The naked body that looks human further blurs the line.

They look like shit. Her thermoptic camo looks like shit in the trailers. Especially the famous water fight scene. She's supposed to be invisible until like right before she punches but the viewer sees her outline because audiences are too fucking stupid to understand she's right there if they can't see her outline.

I guess what we've seen in the trailers aren't bad, if I take a step back and judge just this. ScarJo's movements look kinda shitty though. The floor sliding scene where she's shooting people while sliding on her knees, the weird fast movement around the stripper pole to dodge the gunshot seems like just sped up footage any retard upped the speed on their vlc, etc. The little footage I've seen of the spider tank, I am hopeful there, although I sense it won't live up to the one in the movie.

Damn character limit. Let me elaborate on the last point about The Puppetmaster, The Laughing Man, and Kuze all squeezed into one movie. Here's my prediction of what the plot of the movie is, if it involves all three of them.

>Motoko (or Mira or whatever) is a cyborg super soldier head of Section 9. Some super bad dude named Kuze is going to hack some shit. Section 9 knows this other elite hacker known as The Laughing Man and goes on a side story for 30 minutes to find him and ask for his help. He agrees on some condition that's agreed to. Either along the way to find Laughing Man or on the main plot to find Kuze, she falls into a trap and kidnapped by The Puppet Master who further instills doubts in her past. Seeds are planted that Section 9 is corrupt and they stole her and erased her memories for their own purposes. They probably merge ghosts like in the movie here and that wraps that up. She escapes and these seeds sprout throughout the movie. They eventually find and capture Kuze, probably with Motoko going alone due to everyone being incapacitated along the way. Face to face, Kuze reveals her past and she learns she knew Kuze as a kid or as lovers before Section 9 erased her mind and implanted false memories. Like 2nd Gig, they hug, but Motoko turns him over. Before the end, she confronts Aramaki who reveals he either didn't know or was forced to comply with higher ups, who then get exposed and ousted.
