I think the original anime is amazing and I usually hate weebshit. it had a very unique style and feel that is difficult to replicate, in fact movies like the matrix aped after it. this looks a bit too cleaned up for mass productio, background stories have been tinkered with and they obviously didn't try very hard except the look of a handful major characters. it still looks fun

Could the guy who reveals the "truth" to the Major in the trailers be Kuze? He has longish white/gray hair and he seems to be a cyborg in pretty bad shape.

Based on what they've teased so far I can't really understand where they're going with the story. Seems like Major gets injured when she's already a Major or at least an adult and the plot seems to center around her dealing with that fact and possibly finding out her accident wasn't an accident but the company who gave her the cyborg body made it happen?

Visually everything looks pretty fucking great but I'm worried they'll take the story into some really weird direction where the Major we see is nothing like the Major we know from the animes.
