Show me a better talk show host

lol
Big fan, brilliant guy, still is. His show and its format was really in a class of its own.

Are there any shows on currently that go in depth the way his did, and aren't afraid to challenge the guest? I don't except anyone to have his charisma, but anything would be appreciated

I really don't think so and it's a shame. The only adult-ish American talk show seems to be Real Time, but I understand not everybody is a fan.
Letterman was amazing but had a much more restrictive. It'd be nice to see him do a Cavett-eque show now, he's a smart guy. Because that's what a lot of it was about, having the time, and the audience i guess, to let adults have conversations.
I don't have Hulu anymore but I think they have a lot of Cavett episodes or at least they did.

That's disappointing to here but still, thanks.
I don't know Real Time (not American) so I'll at least check it out at some point
