I liked it quite a bit. It is a slow burn, but there are some really choice scenes

>trying to catch the masturbator in the quarry
>the girl walking home and the head slowly rears up in the field
>"look into my eyes"
>"he looked normal"

Also the main character starting into the camera at the end, the real life killer surely saw the movie as he was never caught.
