Is ...Risen from the Grave really the only Hammer vampire movie you've seen? It's one of the worst ones and in no way deserves to be ranked above Black Sabbath, which is kino btw. You need to see Horror of Dracula, Brides of Dracula, Vampire Circus, and Twins of Evil. Those are all better.

Fascination deserves to be under Film imo. Have you seen Daughters of Darkness, or The Blood Spattered Bride? Those are good too.

Yes, I don't know where to begin with the Hammer vampire films. There are so many but if Risen from the Grave is considered the worst I expect to like every one of them. Thanks for the ones you listed, I realized I missed so many when I was looking through lists on Letterboxd. I didn't like Rollins vampire films that much because I'm not a fan of sexploitation film. I still admire how much his static camera use has influenced contemporary directors to a degree, Tsai Ming-liang and Jia Zhangke being some of my favorites.

That's probably why I like it though. The movie pretty much sets up after being stuck together for 200 years they are sick of vampire shit in general and in each other.

I also like the fact the movie was able to balance out the the lore in the movie and there chaotic relationship.
