but show holds its own physics authenticity, the one thing that bother me the most though is the artificial gravity
for that they portray the ships as constantly having their engines on (and when they turn it off they get zero g)
and for ships to have constant acceleration all of the trip's time, they would be too fast when reaching they target, so it isn't viable

I stopped watching this show after the second or third episode. I've read all the books, and I want to say I don't have a case of the "durr hurr it doesn't look exactly like I pictured it so it's shit"s, but that might be it. I just thought the sets, especially the ship bridges and cockpits looked really cheap, with joysticks just sitting in top of cardboard consoles. I remember the exact moment I dropped it: the crew was being taken to the bridge of the Martian warship after being captured, and the bridge was a mettle box suspended in the middle of a giant empty void in the middle of the ship that existed for no reason. It had a single catwalk spanning it way up towards the top which made no sense. I thought it was very stupid. Then the "bridge" was just two guys sitting in front of tv's and the captain standing behind a lecturn.
