I'll start with the superb suspense-horror "Dark Night of the Scarecrow"!
>A man who recently completed rebuilding a townhouse becomes obsessed with a rat infestation until it becomes an interspecies duel.
Basically "Mousehunt" but deadly.
>When a suburban couple go camping for the weekend at a remote beach, they discover that nature isn't in an accommodating mood.
There's also a remake with Jim Caviezel, which is surprisingly decent too.

The Quatermass movies are generally recommended, except for that last one with John Mills where he looks for his daughter.
>Some crazy guy in an icelandic village decides to kill everyone in there.
More drama than horror but geniunely creepy.

The original TV serials are also very good. Prefer the TV version of Pit to the Hammer one.

Yeah, they have a very unique atmosphere due to the way they were produced. I like them as well.
Nautical monster action that never got the love it deserved.

Fuck I remember the first time I rented this on a whim when I was like 8 or some shit. Blew my mind thought it was the best and NONE of my friends had ever heard of it. One time some friends and I were renting movies for a Friday night and I picked it and they were all like nah this looks so gay but I convinced them somehow. They all shat their pants upon viewing and I felt like a boss.
That ending tho
