Last nights episode was actually pretty good.

I like Sawyer. The story is good when it isn't family drama shit, the political aspect and scifi mystery is interesting but the family drama really bogs it down to a point where you can ignore half the plot and still understand whats happening which I don't like.

I put it on on my laptop while playing vidya and it's alright as a background show

Yeah, this is my main problem with it too. What prevents it from being really good. The setting is great but at least a third of the show is just boring. Boring dialogues between boring characters when crazy alien shit going on. If the whole main family died off and they just followed Snyder around...

The Authority is hilariously inept too but I can suspend my disbelief for that.
