Well, considering every other Pirates movie sucked, I wouldn't expect this to be any different. And every one has gotten progressively worse. I wouldn't have seen them at all except girls always want to go and see them.

He's just a remarkably gay pirate. I mean remarkably. It's kidney punchingly obvious to me and it confuses me how no one else sees it. I usually like Johnny Depp but his version of a faggy pirate does nothing for me.

It's quite literally like some type of Pride parade costume with the most faaaaaahbulous over the top behavior. Then you put Orlando Bloom next to him and they look like some type of fucking queer romance novel couple.

It's just sort of weird to me. That would probably be forgivable if they ever had a plot worth mentioning but a lot of it is lifted 100% from a kickass adventure game series Monkey Island from the 90s that did all those tropes far better.... I mean so much was lifted it's pretty much plagiarism.
