What are his best? I ask this as someone who hasn't seen any of his stuff.
Dreams was straight trash.

Seven Samurai and Yojimbo
>fold sword 10 thousand times
>retards leave it in the dirt to rust
was it autism?
love the speech at the end

Ran and High and Lowpro tip: you can't
loved Ran, one of my favourites. I liked Sanjuro more than Yojimbo
>>80008053
seven samurai, throne of blood, rashomon, the hidden fortress, yojimbo, sanjuro and ikiru

>This is not our victory, but their's
The ending was so bittersweet and tiring. YOu could just feel the weight of the loss the hired samurai felt after the battle.
THe scene does things to my empathy.

Looks like /tv/ isn't the place for films discussion anymore.

Rashomon and Seven Samurai
I really enjoyed Kakemusha
it was not his greatest work but I really identified with the thief character and could feel Kurosawa pouring his feelings of being a "false" man living in his own shadow of glory.
this scene in particular
when he fully "embodies" the spirit of Takeda was really powerful.
Going to watch Throne of Blood and Ikiru this weekend
