no it was technically lamer than that. the weapon only transported dick to purgatory, so it didnt even kill him. they figured that even tho leviathans are evidently the strongest monsters ever that "once you cut the head off the snake the rest will flounder"

so evidently getting rid of dick = now they can tell hunters to borax them, cut off their heads, and keep the head separated from the bodies and it's all good? idk why the leviathan couldnt reform as a slightly shorter human-form beast, but hey you know it's a testament to how shitty that season was that we haven't had a one-off/MOTW episode with some wacky leviathan "going into business for himself" -- or even a "just tryin to live" MOTW story!

aren't there ramifications if the alpha vamp is killed? doesn't that somehow affect all still existing vamps? also, did they ever go into the lore about the alpha? was he THE alpha vamp of the entire planet?
