It had a decent 1st and 2nd act, but a fucking awful 3rd act, why so many people praise it?

I remember when my Dad told me about an Xmen movie coming out. He mentioned it to me because it was all I use to watch on kids tv.
I was excited to see how the hell they'd do Beast.
