I'd been re-watching The Clone Wars recently, and after finishing, tonight I'm watching Revenge of the Sith.

There was this one moment near the beginning when, without any further acknowledgement, General Grievous snatches Obi-Wan and Anakin's lightsabers from a battle droid that brought them to him.

The Battle Droid:

The reason for the battle droids being so cocky in Episode III is because many of them didn't have a memory extinction in the last 3 years of war which made them get character. Just look at 3PO and R2.
