>When characters go too far

Not a Pam fan, but that is a yummy tummy.
>>79969641
>>79969616
Who was in the wrong here?
>>79969616
>>79969616
For some reason this is the most uncomfortable cringe moment from the show for me.
>>79969835
Jim. She's engaged, and that's inappropriate touching, especially in a workplace organized function.
If Pam was litigious, she could have sued Dunder Mifflin like Humberto did when Michael kissed him.
>ugh you're such a lame nerd, jim. you don't even have abs
>>79969697
That is the cutest tummy I have ever seen
>>79969884
>not Scott's Tots
>>79969929
I know.
I don't know why, but that moment is way worse than Scott's Tots for me.
>>79969888
>she could have sued Dunder Mifflin like Humberto did when Michael kissed him
I need to watch this show.
>>79969954
Stop after season 4.
Trust me.
>>79969929
Michael's employees openly laughing at their boss on camera was always unseemly and in poor taste in my view.
>>79969988
Okay thanks I will
>>79970033
Nah senpai watch it all or stop at the end of season 7.
>>79969953
Usually people argue between Scott's Tots and his behavior at Phyllis' wedding.
I also think the Church Mission bus trip freak out was up there too.
>>79969616
Wtf Jim literally RAPED her. I don't remember The Office being this misogynistic
so after hearing all my friends talk about this show for years i actually watched it (all the seasons minus a few episode here and there where i was distracted or doing something else while my wife had it on) and just finished last week. throughout the entire show, jim and pam are by far the least funny characters yet all the normies love them. i can say pretty confidently i never laughed or even cracked a smirk at a single thing jim did or said. my lips might've slightly twitched once or twice at pam but god damn they sucked. i guess a lot of women wouldn't have watched the show without their romance though.
>>79970240
who was fav
>>79970093
Phyllis' Wedding was really hard for me to watch, and Scott's Tots was up there. I usually don't have a problem with cringe stuff either.
>>79970033
watch until you can't bear it anymore or michael leaves. but yeah first 4 seasons are definitely kino
>>79969616
perfectly accurate representation of how women can dish it out but can't take it. they have the privilege to lay their hands on men whenever and wherever they choose, but if a man reciprocates then it's at best a social faux pas and and worst a criminal offense.
>>79969616
Was it rape?
>>79970352
*tips neckbeard*
>>79969835
Jim, and by today's standards, he raped her there.
>>79970352
>to lay their hands on men whenever and wherever they choose
it's fun to call them out on this and more guys should
>>79970352
please get laid
>>79970391
>>79970504
nah, he's attractive. attractive people can't rape.
>>79970208
Jim was the Strangler
I wonder how many times they rehearsed this scene.
>>79969861
JUST
>>79970596
I'm sure Jenna is rehearsing it in her mind as we speak
>>79970352
The difference is that men almost always want it to lead up to sex and women don't always want that.
You know it.
I know it.
Eeeeverybody knows it.
>>79970596
they had to do it 8 times, because Jenna said she couldn't feel Jim's boner the first 7 times
>>79970352
>>79969861
Is this a meme or does Jenna Fischer actually have the hots for Jim-actor?
>>79970352
>WOMEN IS UNFAIRRR
>>79970698
both
>>79970665
So they finally gave him viagra so they could get on with the shoot.
>>79969929
I can't watch that episode. I literally can't. It's just too much for me.
>>79969697
Stomach Shmumack, how's her ankle game?
>>79970926
>ankles
Fuck that pleb shit
Lemme see those collarbones though
>>79970240
Watched seasons 1-5 for the 6th and final time and I realize just how terribly boring they are. Together and separate. The worst part of the show by far
>>79971044
>>79970240
I randomly watched an episode of S2 as a dental technician worked on my teeth, and it was hilarious (Dwight's Mussolini speech).
>>79970240
>>79971044
I think a lot of women LOVE the show because of Jim and Pam's romance. It's more realistic than most TV shows, and yet still has a happy perfect ending for the characters.
I always thought the unlocked daycare bathroom conflict was awkward and just unfunny. Everything was so deadpan and the guy didn't fit the vibe that a lot of extras tended to do. Beginning of the end I suppose.
>>79970240
Jim and Pam were clearly intended to be the most relatable characters and they're both horrible, totally unlikable people.
Jim is supposed to be "normal guy stuck dealing with his kooky co-workers". He ultimately comes off as a pretentious douche with a false sense of superiority.
Pam is supposed to be timid and non-confrontational. But she subtly manipulates Jim and others into doing whatever she wants.

>Pam is supposed to be timid and non-confrontational. But she subtly manipulates Jim and others into doing whatever she wants
Just like every woman.
>>79970698
its a meme and shes working the audience.
>>79970352
Someone post that webm of the guy pulling the girls ponytail from behind at that sports game and she looks back at him like she wants to fug
>>79972874
Man they just could stop shitting on Toby.
>>79973015
*could not

>Poor Pammy will become one of those washed up hasbeen's forever obsessed with their past success.
>She will end up like that twilight zone episode with the former young Hollywood starlet who just stays in and rewatches her movies all day because she has no life anymore.
Have you seen her two latest Instagram posts? One is about an Office bag she bought and the other is her "bumping into" the actor who played David Wallace at a play.
>>79970240
>has a wife
>calls others normies
What did he meme by this?
>Why don't you go in there and rape her? I'll hold her arms down. You can stick a rag in her mouth
Literally what did she mean by this? I felt like I was reading a /tv/ Sam Raimi thread when I saw that scene.
>>79969835
Jim and Pam are both awful people and both exist in the plane known as "in the wrong" at all times
>>79969929
>>79969953
>>79969993
If Scott's Tots isn't in your all-time top 10 you need to gtfo
>>79969861
Jenna Fischer's post-Office life is ten times sadder and cringier than anything that ever happened on the show. Absolute pottery.
>>79974013
>wife
anon, we all know what he meant under "wife"
>>79970240
>>79971154
The problem is you are relatively well adjusted people that don't need sitcom-surrogate-friends to live your life vicariously through.
In that context the asshole/get-their-way/love-story nature of Jim and Pam in particular and the more than typical 4th wall breaking that just those characters have all make sense --- they are just the audiences' escapism /wish fulfillment.
>>79974171
It brought to mind the husband/wife serial killer pairs you occasionally here about.
>>79969861
>yfw she voted for Trump and then felt guilty afterward
>>79974171
She wanted to spice things up
What I wonder is what she would have said if he had been down with it
