First season was really good. It was compelling to see a town basically tear itself apart and turn against each other.

I couldn't even get through two episodes of the second season. It was a slog.

I'm pretty sure the show could have just ended at Season 1 and would've been better for it.

Yes. Watched it last year now I'm re-watching it with my girlfriend.

As others have said, season 1 was fantastic. Season 2, not so much.

Season 1 is telekino.

Season 2 isn't as bad as people say but it's a massive drop in quality. It provides resolution to Tennant's character's backstory, but for a lot of the parts in court you uh...have to suspend disbelief quite a bit.
