Even with more bodies in cryo storage, it'd still be important to have as many viable child-producing couples as possible. The argument of "well there's tons of couples anyway, so we can afford a few homos" doesn't work. You're still wasting space for what is effectively dead weight. Every homo couple means one less straight couple to help with the colonization effort. There's no reason to take them if you can help it. And it certainly can be helped. Any sort of colonization mission like this, realistically, would screen everyone and make sure you're only bringing along straight people who want kids and aren't infertile, elderly, etc. Hell, you'd probably go further than that and do even more advanced screening to weed out people with certain genetic disorders or predispositions or whatever else.

This new trailer has got me excited. The new neomorph looks more masculine to me. The big chap had a slightly feminine quality to it but this one looks far more aggressive and mean to me.
