While I agree that most people here seem to like the governor arc, I would say the vast majority love to shit on S2

Season 2 had many many faults, just based on the non major characters alone. I mean ricks wife driving off to somewhere for some reason just cuz.

Outside of those secondary characters S2 was top 2 or 3 seasons in my book.

Negan loses, but isn't killed. they jail him instead. His entire crew is mostly dead, others are simply absorbed into Rick's because where the fuck else are they going to go.

The comics can have as many characters as they want, but there's just too many for the show. It moves at a glacial pace constantly switching between plots and characters so everyone is so bland and boring. And even then, only 3-4 of the like 16 main characters get a lot of screentime per episode. Sasha has barely been in any of these episodes, she's jsut walking around in the background. It's like the characters don't exist until it's time to have them mumble their backstory into the camera, advance the plot, or get killed.
