A Field in England is one of the best films of the decade so far.
I don't know about his new film because I can't stand Americans but I'll check it since I enjoyed High Rise. I got hyped when they played Industrial Estate at the end. He must have had a beer With Mark E. Smith.

pretty meh. Seen almost all his films and yet to be impressed by a single one. I think Anglo-American filmmaking in general is pretty fucking boring and low quality at the moment. I don't think it's coincidence that Peter Strickland, one of the more interesting contemporary directors, is working in the european tradition.
Havent watched any of his movies yet, but Free Fire looks great
Sightseers is a great dark comedy and gives me hope that Free Fire will be better than the trailers make it look.

Kill-List was amazing, can't wait for Free Fire.

High-Rise was ridiculously underrated, one of the best films released last year. I loved A Field in England and Kill List as well, but High-Rise was a big step forward.

>gets called kurbrick once
>next film is an attempt to knock off a clockwork orange and barry lyndon.
It was also boring as fuck.
A field in england was ok.
Kill List is disgusting.
Free Fire looks like shit.
He lives in my town, see him getting the bus every now and then, pretty cool guy.
He does regular Q&As at the local independent theater as well.
I've seen all his films, but I'd have to go back and see them again to truly rate them, but Kill List and Sightseers are probs my faves.
High Rise had good moments but felt like it lost itself by the end.
Sightseers, A Field in England and High Rise are all very good but have all fallen short of Kill List, which was spectacular.
I'm hoping Free Fire, given that it's the first film he's written as well as directed since Kill List, will be a cut above the other 3.
