I've been doing it since 2005 anon so I know a thing or two

1) set your torrent client to use a nonstandard port.
2) Limit your upload speed to 100kbps or less
3) Download torrent from any site, though I'd really avoid anything HBO related. They're the only ones who really report abusers. For HBO shit i'd go to DDL.
4) After download completes, remove the torrent so you don't seed further.
5) enjoy

the key is not seeding. ISPs don't really care about what you download, but they care about what you upload and serve. Don't do it.

The "private tracker" meme is bullshit. All of them are comprimised and require massive uploading ratios. Don't do it.
