Because making a movie is an entirely different skillset than being able to look at an existing movie and understanding what works and doesn't work in it.

Making movies is also really fucking hard when you have no budget.

I love RLM but they think that acting bad acting out is way funnier than it actually is. Of course, they only do it because none of them can really act.
