Absolutely yes, I only just watched it a little over a year ago and somehow I think of it often. Really solid, fucked up, yet also somehow comfy body horror film. Oliver Reed is great too.

Hm, you're not wrong in those cases. I like Viggo, including in E.Promises but yeah, someone else may have done a bit more w/ that role. Also those others. It actually worked or suited the material w dude from Cosmopolis. Pattinson, sort of a dry performance but suitable.

It's shot in Canada because Cronenberg is Canadian. All his movies were shot there, except for parts of Maps to the Stars.
