Just watched the first episode of Fargo. Seems intriguing but

You should watch the movie and the first season. There is much better dark comedy in the movie but he characters are a bit better in the series due to more time to flesh out

both seasons are fantastic television but they both leave you with a bit of disappointment inside at the end. an empty feeling. the movie doesn't have that problem.

the show is just loosely connected to the movie, you could call the first season a prequel. The second season is even more different from the movie.
So, you can watch the movie anyway, it's a classic

true, why was the second season so awful compared to the first. I mean the aesthetic and all is great but you don't really get to make a connection to the characters, it all feels so loose and pointless

I liked the second season more than the first. But I seriously hate martin freeman and hope he gets ass cancer. So that may be a factor
